Balance is Body & Mind

Here at GET FIT EGV, we believe in balance being both body and mind which is why we offer a variety of class types in addition to our #personaltraining and #nutritioncoaching services. Our semi-private classes mean you get the support you need to start your journey or take it to the next level.

Typical class sizes range from 3 to 10 people depending on day and time.

Our facility and equipment are cleaned between each class, rooms are equipped with UV light air cleaners throughout and supplied with additional circulation with proven appropriate humidity levels to reduce the spread of #covid. With being a smaller facility located on the 2nd floor, we have developed a private community that is respectful to everyone's needs and concerns for maintaining a high quality of health.

Functional Training

With constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements, our small group training philosophy is that people of all shapes and sizes to improve their physical well-being and cardiovascular fitness in a supportive community environment. Progress is tracked using our community app called #SugarWOD so that you are always challenging yourself with each workout and therefore promoting change. Our owner and head coach Rowena Dziubla will scale and adjust any prescribed workout as needed so that you're able to complete the workout of the day safe and injury free. A typical class structure will begin with 15 to 20 minutes of strength incorporating popular barbell movements such as back squat, strict press, bench press, overhead squat, cleans and snatches to name a few. This will be followed by accessory work and then closing out the class with 5 to 30 minutes of agility work by way of an AMRAP, EMOM, RFT, etc. If you're tired of the cliques an competition at other boxes, then Get Fit EGV is a community for you. Small community for big results and big rewards - the only competition is you unlike at other boxes.

These classes are conveniently offered 8 times a day throughout the workweek through the #PushPress member app.

Free Your #Chakras

Chakra (cakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being.

The seven chakras are the main energy centers of the body. You've probably heard people talk about "unblocking" their chakras, which refers to the idea that when all of our chakras are open, energy can run through them freely, and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit.

Held weekly at 4:30pm on Wednesday nights to help you get over hump in the week.

All ages and levels are welcome.

Each week, as part of our wind down for the day, we will learn about how to open and protect each of our seven chakras:

Crown Third Eye Throat Heart Solar Plexus Sacral Root

Morning Salutations

Start your weekend off right!

The Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskara (SOOR-yuh nah-muh-SKAR-uh), is a series of poses performed in a sequence to create a flow of movement. Each pose coordinates with your breathing: Inhale to extend, and exhale to bend.

How many salutations are there in yoga?

Why do people practice 108 Sun Salutations? It is believed that the fire (internal heat) that you build during this practice is cleansing, detoxifying, and gets you more in touch with yourself. There are many benefits to practicing 108 Sun Salutations.

These classes are offered every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30am to all member types.

All ages and levels welcome.
