I have been running a successful virtual health coaching business since 2017 and have come to realize that although virtual is convenient and can produce successful results - it's not for everyone. So in order to help more people, I've created GET FIT EGV.
My vision is that it will help remove the complacency out of getting healthy and form a community within where we can support each other in all of our endeavors. A community of like minded people who love being healthy and strong.

Personal training is available both in person (by appointment) or virtually.
In person training will take place at the GET FIT EGV facility.
Virtual personal training is offered via a couple of different methods. If this is something you are interested, let's talk and figure out what would work best for you.

During our small group training sessions you can expect to not only build strength but improve your flexibility and mobility with the the various types of modalities involved within each and every workout. This is what's called functional fitness training. Read more about it below.
FUNDAMENTALS OF FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Get Your Heart Working
Functional fitness is a classification of training that prepares the body for real-life movements and activities. Also known as functional training or functional movement, “It trains your muscles to work together and prepares them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports.” – Mayo Clinic. Movements such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting will be made easier with functional fitness integrated into your exercise routine. According to WebMD.com, functional fitness is focused on building a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life positions, not just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealized posture created by a gym machine. For example, you could be deadlifting 400+ pounds in the gym, but when you go to put a suitcase in the back of your car, you throw your back out. Or, you can bicep curl with 50-pound dumbbells with perfect form, but picking up your child makes you pull a muscle. If either of these things sound like you, it may be time to incorporate functional fitness training into your routine.
1-ON-1 PERSONAL TRAINING
Whether we do this in person or virtually, together we will work on all aspects of being healthy - nutrition, strength, flexibility, mobility. We will work on making you whole again and/or taking you to that next level. 1-on-1 training means you get my undivided attention, we move at your pace and everything is done on your schedule.
