The Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskara (SOOR-yuh nah-muh-SKAR-uh), is a series of poses performed in a sequence to create a flow of movement. Each pose coordinates with your breathing: Inhale to extend, and exhale to bend.
How many salutations are there in yoga?
Why do people practice 108 Sun Salutations? It is believed that the fire (internal heat) that you build during this practice is cleansing, detoxifying, and gets you more in touch with yourself. There are many benefits to practicing 108 Sun Salutations.
These classes are offered every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30am to all member types.

Chakra (cakra in Sanskrit) means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being.
The seven chakras are the main energy centers of the body. You've probably heard people talk about "unblocking" their chakras, which refers to the idea that when all of our chakras are open, energy can run through them freely, and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit.
Held weekly at 4:30pm on Wednesday nights to help you get over hump in the week.

SEMI-PRIVATE GROUP FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
During the semi-private group training sessions you can expect to not only build strength but improve your flexibility and mobility with the the various types of modalities involved within each and every workout. This is what's called functional fitness training. Read more about it below.
FUNDAMENTALS OF FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Get Your Heart Working
Functional fitness is a classification of training that prepares the body for real-life movements and activities. Also known as functional training or functional movement, “It trains your muscles to work together and prepares them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports.” – Mayo Clinic. Movements such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting will be made easier with functional fitness integrated into your exercise routine. According to WebMD.com, functional fitness is focused on building a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life positions, not just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealized posture created by a gym machine. For example, you could be deadlifting 400+ pounds in the gym, but when you go to put a suitcase in the back of your car, you throw your back out. Or, you can bicep curl with 50-pound dumbbells with perfect form, but picking up your child makes you pull a muscle. If either of these things sound like you, it may be time to incorporate functional fitness training into your routine.
1-ON-1 PERSONAL TRAINING
Whether we do this in person or virtually, together we will work on all aspects of being healthy - nutrition, strength, flexibility, mobility. Coach Ro and you will work on making you whole again and/or taking you to that next level. 1-on-1 training means you get her undivided attention, you move at your pace and everything is done on your schedule.
